A “raw vegan” influencer has reportedly died from hunger after a decade of solely consuming fruit and greens.

Originally from Russia, Zhanna Samsonova – often called Zhanna D’Art on social media – used Instagram, the place she had greater than 10,000 followers earlier than she died, to focus on the advantages of a uncooked vegan weight-reduction plan.

Her final put up on Instagram celebrated the start of durian season in Thailand, the place she’d been residing beforehand.

“Wake up and smell the durian! For all you durian lovers out there, isn’t it just the best? And for those who haven’t yet experienced the joy of durian, you’re in for a wild ride!”

The fruit has a particular pungent odor, which has been likened to uncooked sewage and is banned from some public areas in numerous Asian nations.
